Custody and Visitation

Spending time with one's children is the most important part about being a parent.

Physical Custody

Physical custody determines who is able to control the physical whereabouts of children, and thus also affords the ability to control a non-custodial parent's ability to visit with their children.

Some states have a rebuttable presumption of joint physical custody. This means that unless there is a good reason not to do so, both parents are granted joint physical custody and is generally seen as supportive of childrens' best interests. Unfortunately, its not in the best interests of lawyers, so its possible that the reason why this isn't the case for all fifty states is that lawmakers are disinclined to promote this scenario.

This weekend my son and I went camping. We brought along his friend Billy and went fishing too. They each caught a decent sized Perch and we had them for dinner. It was  beautiful weather and we all had a great time.
